This message is to inform you of a schedule change for the Dell Rapids Middle School Boys Basketball team.
Dell Rapids MS Boys Basketball will not be going to Pipestone on Monday. Instead, the team will play St. Mary’s at the Dell Rapids Elementary School gym on Thursday, January 29th with 7th grade starting at 4:30 PM followed by 8th grade. The team will still play West Central on January 27th against West Central at Dell Rapids Elementary School with a 4 PM start for the 7 A Game.

Congratulations to Carson Maeschen and the Maeschen family on signing to attend Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa! Carson plans to study pre-med and play football for the Red Raiders!

The Dell Rapids MS Girls Basketball Game at Madison is cancelled. The game will not be rescheduled.
As of now, we plan to play in the doubleheader games in Milbank tomorrow with the schedule listed below.

2 PM - JV Boys- Main Gym
3:15 PM - Varsity Girls - Main Gym
4:45 PM - Varsity Boys - Main Gym
We also plan to play in the middle school girls basketball tournament at West Central with a combined 7th and 8th-grade team. The team will play at 8:30 AM v. Lennox.
As always, during the winter season, we ask student-athletes to come appropriately dressed for the event. Hats, gloves, coats, and winter-appropriate shoes. If something were to change, you will be notified. Thank you and Go Quarriers!

The Dell Rapids Jazz Band and Dell Rapids Choral program will not perform at Christmas at the Dells due to forecasted weather..
The girls' basketball game against Beresford, scheduled for December 6th, is postponed to January 15th. The start time is 6 PM JV with Varsity to follow. The game location will be in Beresford.
Due to inclement weather, we will be making the following change to today’s basketball game scheduled with SFC.
- 7th Grade at the Elementary School Gym – 4 PM Start time
- 8th Grade at the Middle School Gym – 4 PM Start Time
Each game will be 4 quarters with a 6-minute clock.

Good luck to our SDHSAA All-State Choir Students this weekend in Sioux Falls! The performance will take place at 7 PM at the Denny Sanford Premier Center on Saturday, November 1st! Congratulations to Grace (4-year All-State member), Hannah, Auhbree, Paislee, Dylan, Leighton, Asher, Dylan, alternate Austyn, and Mr. Michalscheck!

The Quarriers take on the Bulldogs in SDHSAA Playoff Football on Thursday, October 30th, in Dell Rapids. Ticket gates will open at 5:45 PM, and the kickoff is at 7 PM. CONGRATULATIONS to Rorie and Camden on placing in the top twenty at Region 2 A Cross Country. They will now compete at the SDHSAA State Cross Country Meet in Huron at Broadland Creek Golf Course on October 25th! Camden's race time is at Noon, and Rorie's race time is at 1:30 PM. Dak XII Tournament time for our High School Volleyball team. The tournament starts at 9 AM at Elk Point-Jefferson High School on October 18th. Dell Rapids will play the winner of Vermillion and Tri-Valley in the second round. Admission: $10 for Adults / $5 for Students (all day price).
