The Dell Rapids FCCLA is sponsoring a shoe drive to help support individuals and families in our community and surrounding areas. With your generosity, we can help provide much‑needed footwear for those in need.
We are collecting new or gently used shoes for both children and adults. All donated shoes should be clean and in good, wearable condition. Sneakers, sandals, boots, and dress shoes are all welcome.
Drop‑off boxes will be available in the Dell Rapids Elementary School office, Middle School office, and High School office. Donations may be dropped off anytime through Thursday, April 16.

a. (2) $1,000 scholarships awarded to one female and one male scholar-athlete.
b. Applicants should be a graduating senior from Dell Rapids High School who have not only excelled across multiple sports, but have also demonstrated exceptional academic achievement, leadership, and character throughout their high school careers.

Congratulations to all of our wrestlers (Josie, Camden, Breck, and Charlie) and coaches on a hard-fought State Tournament in Sioux Falls! Every single wrestler who qualified won a match! Camden also earned his 100th win this weekend!

We are reaching out with a small request that could make a big difference for our students.
We currently have a need for TI 84 calculators for our math department and two microwaves for student lunches. While we can go through the normal requisition process, we know that many community members or former students may have these items at home that are no longer being used.
If you happen to have a TI 84 calculator or a microwave in good working condition and would be willing to donate it to DRHS, we would be very grateful. These items would go directly to supporting our students in the classroom and during their school day.

On February 12th, we will send choral students to Brookings to participate in the High School Festival of Song and the Elementary Festival Honor Choir. The following students will represent the Quarriers: Dylan, Charlie, Dylan, Leighton, Asher, Hannah, Grace, Austyn, Alex, Paislee, Jocelyn, Jacob, Max, Violet, and Elenaor! Go Quarriers!

National Signing Day started off with a bang this morning and ended with SIX more Quarriers signing today after school! Congratulations to Karson, Ben, Devin, Drake, Kenny, and Ryan for taking the next step in your academic and athletic careers. We now have an Eagle, Trojans, Reivers, Lancer, Tiger, and a Bearcat! Today, we celebrate National Girls and Women in Sports Day! Our Quarriers have achieved the following accomplishments in the 2025-2026 school year!
-State Volleyball Third Place
-State Cross Country Qualifier - 17th Place
-Competitive Cheer 5th Place
-Soccer State Tournament Qualifiers
-The Basketball team is 11-5 and the second seed in Region 3 A.
-Wrestlers have taken home medals from multiple events and will participate in the Region Tournament on February 19th.
-Powerlifters will be at home on Saturday
We look forward to an exciting finish for our winter sports, and the excitement is building for the spring season!
