!! 2026-2027 Activity Registration Reminder !!
Activity registration for the 2026-2027 school year is open for students entering Grades 7-12. If your student plans to participate in any Dell Rapids activity this year, please complete their registration in Bound as soon as possible.
Please use the attached graphic for step-by-step instructions on how to register.
Important Reminders:
• Physicals are required annually and must be completed after April 1 for the 2026-2027 school year.
• Print the last two pages of the SDHSAA physical form and take them to your appointment:

• After your appointment, take a picture of both completed pages and upload them directly into Bound.
• Please do not turn physical paperwork in to the Activities Office or school. Everything is completed online through Bound, allowing us immediate access to your student's forms whenever they are needed.
• Complete all required SDHSAA and Dell Rapids School District forms in Bound. Registration is not complete until every required document has been signed or uploaded.
• Concussion testing is coordinated through out Athletic Trainer, Patrick Starr.
Once all steps have been completed, you will receive a confirmation that your registration is complete. Please be sure to register your student for every activity they plan to participate in during the 2026-2027 school year.

Before starting registration, please make sure you have completed a new physical for the 2026-2027 school year. Make sure you complete all steps so your student is ready to go.

Softball Schedule Update -
Dell Rapids will play in the Watchdog Classic on Saturday! The tournament will use the following schedule.
- 11 AM - Dell Rapids v. Sioux Falls Christian
- 1 PM - Dell Rapids v. Tri-Valley
- 3 PM - OFF
- 5 PM - Dell Rapids will play a similar record from the other pool.

The Post Prom Committee would like to invite parents of current sophomores to attend an informal meeting to discuss the transition from junior‑parent leadership to sophomore‑parent involvement.
This meeting will provide an overview of how Post Prom planning works and help answer questions about getting started for next year’s Post Prom event. There is no commitment required to attend—this is simply an opportunity for sophomore parents to learn more about the process and decide if they may be interested in getting involved.

Class of 2027! The senior banner photo session sign-up is in the high school office! Sign up for time slots on May 6th, 13th, or 27th in the middle school commons from 3:30 PM-7:30 PM. Students in a school sport, FFA, or Fine Arts will receive 1 free banner. Additional banners can be purchased, but only 1 banner will be displayed at the school. Students not in the above activities can purchase a banner for outside of school activities.
🏀 All-Star Basketball Camp
The All-Star Basketball Camp will be held June 15–18 at the Dell Rapids Elementary School Gym and is open to students in Kindergarten through Grade 6.
Grades 4–6: 8:00–10:00 AM
Kindergarten–Grade 3: 10:30 AM–12:30 PM
This fun, skill-focused camp is designed to help students build basketball fundamentals, teamwork, and confidence in a positive, encouraging environment. The camp is led by Karla Gruis and Shannon Tjaden.
