Driver’s Education – Summer 2026
Dell Rapids School District is pleased to once again offer Driver’s Education during Summer 2026.
Classroom Instruction will be held May 26–29, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. daily at Dell Rapids High School. Classroom instructors will be Jason Fersdahl and Craig Jorgensen. Please note that dates may be adjusted if additional spring snow days occur.
Behind‑the‑Wheel Driving will begin June 1, 2026, with instruction provided by Craig Jorgensen, Janna Kloth, and Jason Fersdahl. Students will use district vehicles, including the tan Impala, blue Impala, and minivan.
The cost is $250 per student, the same as last year. Students must be 14 years old on or before October 1, 2026, to be eligible to register.
Informational letters will be sent home with students during the week of March 23. Online registration information will be shared through the school communication system during the week of March 30. Families may pay online using My School Bucks, or submit payment by check or cash.
