Welcome to my homepage! I'm so excited to start a new year at a new school!

This is my eighth year as a teacher, sixth year as a sixth grade teacher. I started my teaching career at a Hutterite colony in the Kindergarten - 3rd grade classroom with the Menno School District. I was there for 2 years! After Menno, I moved to Dell Rapids. I have been teaching 6th grade at St. Mary for the last 5 years. This is my 5th year living in Dell Rapids. 

A few things about me: I drink coffee like it is going out of style! I love spending time with family and friends. I enjoy being outside doing anything! I have ran 2 half marathons, and I am adding a Tough Mudder this summer. I enjoy going to the movies and reading a good book.
