Elementary School
The Dell Rapids School District's latest construction project is the new elementary school. This school is located in the northwest corner of Dell Rapids in the Timber Ridge addition just south of 15th street between the cemetery and Powderhorn Road.
The new school will be approximately 82,000 s.f., and will not only house grades K-4, but also the Dell Rapids School District's Early Childhood Special Education Program. The new school is estimated to hold 450 students, with the possibility of expanding or adding four additional classrooms.
