The Dell Rapids School District has experienced the following school cancellation days so far this school year (make-up dates are listed below):
The weather-related school cancellation on Tuesday, November 11, will NOT have to be made up.
The bereavement-related school cancellation on Friday, December 5, will be made up on Friday, May 15, 2009.
The activity-related school cancellation on Thursday, March 12, will be made up on Monday, May 18, 2009.
The activity-related school cancellation on Friday, March 13, will be made up on Tuesday, May 19, 2009.
All of these dates were established as make-up dates by the Board of Education. The final day of classes for students (whatever date that ends up being) will be an early dismissal (1:00 p.m.).
